Specifications: DRAM Type: 30-Pin SIMM - FPM Supported Speeds: 80ns or faster Supported Sizes: 1, 2, 4, 16 Configuration: Soldered DRAM: None Stock Memory: 1 or 5 MB Memory Slots: 8 (2 Banks of 4) Maximum RAM: 128 MB Notes: You must fill each bank fully. The IIci has 32bit clean ROMs. The IIci uses DRAM for video and maps it to Bank A, so, unlike most Macs, you should install your lowest density SIMMS in Bank A for best performance. There are two logic boards for the Macintosh IIci, one with parity and one without. You can identify the Parity Logic Board by the large parity IC installed to the left of the SIMM slots (see picture below). If you have a Parity Logic Board, you need Parity SIMMs instead of the standard SIMMs. Please inform us by entering "Parity - IIci" in the description section of your Order Form. |
